We’re hiring a Sales Solutions Engineer who can bridge deep technical understanding with crisp customer storytelling — someone who can translate architecture into impact, and make Mage AI’s capabilities tangible to enterprise prospects.

You’ll partner directly with founders, sales, and product to design proof-of-concepts, guide technical evaluations, and ensure every customer sees how Mage AI helps them build, automate, and scale AI workflows faster and cheaper than anything else on the market.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the technical win — partner with AEs throughout the sales cycle to scope, demo, and deliver tailored solutions that solve real business problems.

  • Run high-impact demos: show how Mage AI unifies ETL, MLOps, and orchestration; tailor to each industry and data stack.

  • Design proofs of concept (POCs) that highlight ROI — integrate real data, automate workflows, and prove time-to-value.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering to translate customer requirements into roadmap insights.

  • Champion best practices — guide customers on architecture, security, scalability, and AI-driven automation.

  • Support enterprise readiness: help prospects navigate SOC 2, deployment models, integrations, and governance.

  • Enable sales — create reusable demo environments, technical playbooks, and solution templates to accelerate future cycles.

Who You Are

  • Hybrid storyteller + technologist — equally comfortable discussing architecture diagrams and business outcomes.

  • Experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Implementation Specialist at a B2B SaaS or data/AI company.

  • Strong grasp of data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and AI/ML workflows.

  • Excellent communicator — can explain complex technical systems clearly to both engineers and executives.

  • Collaborative operator — works closely with AEs, PMs, and engineers to deliver seamless customer experiences.

  • Curious and hands-on — eager to explore new technologies, run demos, and constantly improve the customer story.

  • Startup mindset — adaptable, fast, and motivated by impact over process.
