What You’ll Do
Build and ship product: own full features from backend logic to front-end polish across Mage AI’s unified platform.
Architect scalable systems that power data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and AI workflows.
Collaborate tightly with design and product to translate user needs into high-impact functionality.
Work across the stack — APIs, databases, React components, cloud deployments, and real-time interfaces.
Contribute to performance and reliability: write clean, efficient code and improve system observability.
Shape developer experience by extending Mage’s internal frameworks, CLI tools, and SDKs.
Own quality and speed — deploy often, test rigorously, and iterate quickly based on feedback.
Who You Are
Strong experience with Python or Node.js on the backend and React + TypeScript on the frontend.
Solid understanding of web architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Proven ability to deliver production-grade systems that scale and perform.
Product-minded engineer — you think about usability, DX, and customer value, not just code.
Comfortable in high-velocity startup environments with deep ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
Bonus: familiarity with data engineering, pipelines, or AI/ML infrastructure.
