You will design and build the face of Mage AI, turning complex data and AI systems into simple, elegant, empowering experiences.
We are hiring a Front-End Engineer who turns complex systems into intuitive, fast, beautiful interfaces and obsesses over UX detail, design clarity, and product flow.
You will work directly with founders and product to craft the experience layer of Mage AI.

What you'll do
- Own the front-end of Mage AI's core platform: rich, responsive UIs for pipeline creation, orchestration, and AI workflows.
- Translate complex systems into seamless visual experiences that make data engineering accessible.
- Collaborate deeply with design, product, and backend teams.
- Implement reusable components, state management, theming, and animation frameworks.
- Optimize for performance and clarity so UIs load quickly and feel invisible.
- Prototype new features, test with users, and raise the visual and interaction bar.
Who you are
- Strong experience in React, TypeScript, and modern web tooling.
- Proven ability to design and implement highly interactive, production-grade interfaces.
- Deep understanding of state management, data visualization, and performance optimization.
- Strong eye for design systems, motion, and UX flow.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving startup with high ownership and tight feedback loops.
